Step 5: Accept Your FIle and Write to the Destination

Review and Approve your file(s) before writing to the Lakehouse.

1. Select Ready for Review

1. To accept and to write to the destination, select Approve.

2. If you want to dispose of the current process, select Reject. The file will not be written to the destination.

   1. It will update to a Failed Status.

   2. Reasons for rejection may vary. For example, the user initially chose the wrong file to process.

3. If you select Retry, it will process the file again.

   1. It will not save the outcome of the previous run(s).

   2. The most common scenario for Retry is to incorporate column descriptor updates.
