What are Validators?

Validators explain any constraints associated with a field. In addition, they capture and apply business logic specific to different types of source data, enabling context-aware validation. They allow users to guide AI in creating valid data for a column. The user offers rules that delineate between good and bad data and can also provide examples. Think of these as specific business rules for your organization.

Like field descriptors, validation rules are scoped to a destination table, not a Wrangler.

• They cannot exceed 100 characters

• They should not include special characters unless they are part of the name (e.g., hyphens or parentheses)
